Cambridge Consultants conducted a technical due diligence programme for Consort Medical following its acquisition of Medical House.
A technical due diligence programme by Cambridge Consultants has been completed following Consort Medical's
development investment acquisition in the auto-injection sector.
The consultancy firm provided an expert appraisal of Consort Medical ahead of its entrance into the industry, following its £16.8 million
asset financing purchase.
Consort Medical chief executive officer Jon Glenn explained that the acquisition will bring new expertise to the firm's Bespak division.
He said: "The incremental revenue from these launches alone is exciting, but the combination of Bespak's scale and manufacturing experience with the Medical House's proprietary drug delivery technologies and design capabilities will offer an increasingly compelling solution to the pharmaceutical industry."
He added that Medical House will bring a newly-launched product and pharmaceutical clients to its new business.
The announcement of the consultation comes after Bespak announced that it had renewed one of its major valve contracts on a long-term basis, which is expected to be worth over £25 million over the next five years.
