Commercial real estate offers very secure cash flow for investors in the current climate, according to a leading economist.
Investors are beginning to show a renewed interest in offering
sources of finance for commercial developments, a leading economist has claimed.
Commercial development investment also offers stakeholders a "very secure cash flow", according to the head of capital markets at CB Richard Ellis, Jonathan Hull.
He explained: "A lot of institutions and private equity is therefore now focused back in the market believing that going forward it will either be stable or recover over the medium-term."
Mr Hull's comments follow indications from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) that commercial
asset financing picked up in the last three months of 2009.
In the UK, the property recovery has been led by the London office market, where the amount of available space has declined for the first time in two years.
