MDA Searchflow will provide data to conveyancers on property development projects.
Conveyancing search company MDA Searchflow has agreed to provide electronic property data to conveyancers working on
commercial development projects, acting as an intermediary between law firms and the Land Registry.
The company will offer a Hosted Land Referencing Solution, giving access to a client-driven set of data layers overlaid on an ordnance survey map to provide a view of the development site which can be shared by all interested parties, Mortgage Introducer reports.
This may include HMLR title information, local authority searches and information related to flooding, contaminated land and utilities.
Andrew Lloyd, managing director of MDA Searchflow, said that commercial property lawyers often need to consider a range of legal issues relating to commercial developments over a long time frame.
"By accessing this vital Land Registry data electronically through MDA SearchFlow's robust online systems, it will be much easier to share this information between suppliers, lawyers and clients both remotely and securely," he added.
Last year, MDA Searchflow launched a range of flood reports for the commercial property market.
