London's commercial property market 'in an upward swing'

Property investment firms are bullish about the prospects of the London commercial property market, it has been claimed.

London's commercial market is experiencing an upwards swing which has left property investment firms in a bullish mood, it has been claimed.

A delegation of investors in the commercial development market will today hear from speakers on the prospects of property investment at the annual British Council for Offices, reports business publication City AM.

London School of Economics Greater London group director Tony Travers believes that despite a host of problems in the Eurozone, London's position as a financial centre gives it a strong place on thee world stage.

"The outcome of the general election seems to me to suggest that if you are looking for a place to invest, London fits the bill. This is particularly important in turbulent times," Mr Travers told the news provider.

Shaftesbury Plc, the biggest commercial development landlord in the Carnaby Street area recently agreed that the capital's commercial property market is in good health, as it announced it's first annual profit in two years.
