Property investment offers secure returns in the current financial climate, according to a leading property expert.
Commercial
property investment offers secure returns as values begin to stabilise and rise once again, it has been claimed.
Growing numbers of investors are taking advantage of the benefits of
asset financing as an investment, according to former director of commercial property adviser DTZ Ian McAndrew, who now manages York-based investment firm Helmsley Group.
In an interview with the Yorkshire Post, he explained: "Investments are secure, with strong tenants on long leases with no breaks and good returns.
"It's not hard to see why it has increasing appeal for investors fearful of stock market volatility."
Last week, Helical Bar chief executive Michael Slade indicated that the climate is right to invest in commercial property.
His comments come after the firm recorded significant profits for the 12 months to March 30th, compared to the previous year.
The company has since made £150 million available for investment acquisitions.
