Accountancy firm Mazars has decided to move its headquarters to a new commercial development in Birmingham.
A major
commercial development in Birmingham has won the battle to secure a prestigious new tenant.
The entire 130-strong staff of accountancy firm Mazars will be moved to the new commercial development at 45 Church Street, according to the Birmingham Post.
This is the second major letting for the building since its completion last year, following the decision of
property investment firm King Sturge to move in.
Mazars' Midlands managing partner David Chapman believes the commercial development is just the place to help the company move forward.
"The decision to make our Midlands headquarters in the stunning revitalised new office building at 45 Church Street is a signal to the market that Mazars is on the move, both geographically and business-wise," he told the publication.
Mazars' decision is a welcome one for the buildings' owners, following recent data from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors which indicated that tenant demand for commercial property has fallen for the first time in year.
