Companies urged to show interest in Olympic Park property developments.
Companies keen to secure
sources of finance for further
property investment may be interested in taking advantage of an offer from the Olympic Park Legacy Company.
The organisation has called for expressions of interest to be made for future use of the broadcast and press centres in the area surrounding the Olympic Park.
A nine-week deadline has been imposed for individual companies to come forward with proposals that will attract investment and employment opportunities, such as further
development investment.
The two buildings being put forward have a 1,200 capacity car park and will be used by more than 20,000 media during the 2012 event.
Olympic Park Legacy Company chief executive Andrew Altman explained: "Innovation and enterprise will help define the long-term future of the Olympic Park, and the Broadcast and Press Centres are fundamental to this through the creation of opportunities for businesses and the communities living nearby."
The sites also benefit from the improved transport links being introduced ahead of the Games, proving access from across London.
