Flexible commercial lending boosts Ultimate Finance growth

Ultimate Finance sees turnover increase in difficult commercial lending market.

The flexible sources of finance offered to small businesses have helped a UK financial solutions provider to boost its turnover by 35 per cent.

Asset finance provider Ultimate Finance has seen its turnover increase from £4.76 million in the 12 months to June 2009 to £6.4 million in the last financial year.

The group's chief executive, Richard Pepler, explained: "In these challenging economic times, we provide a lifeline to many businesses while protecting ourselves and our clients with robust underwriting and risk management procedures and careful lending strategies.

"We have also invested in some of the best people the industry has to offer which enables us to offer a truly first rate service."

He added that the group expects to maintain a steady turnover and will be "very well placed" to emerge from the economic downturn with an even greater share of the market "as the market recovers".
