B2B Mortgage wins Business Moneyfacts Award
B2B Mortgage has been awarded second place in the Best Commercial Mortgage Introducer of the Year category at the prestigious Business Moneyfacts Awards 2015.
B2B took a coveted ‘Highly Commended’ rating, with Omega Commercial Solutions taking the top honours. Christie Finance took third place in the best introducer category, both of whom charge a fee for their service.
The Business Moneyfacts Awards are the largest business finance awards in the UK. The selection process takes place throughout the year.
The shortlist for this year’s awards was drawn up in the autumn of 2014. The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on the 19th March 2015 at the Lancaster London Hotel.
The best performing brokers are judged not only on the strength of their applications, but also on testimonials from lenders and customers. The panel gathers a comprehensive picture of what it is like to work with these introducers, ensuring that they work well for customers and represent the best that the industry has to offer.
B2B pledged its case on fairness and its commitment to improving an antiquated commercial mortgage application process.
Since it doesn’t charge broker fees, B2B Mortgage avoids the unfair (though widely executed) practice of charging customers when it’s clear that they are unlikely to secure a mortgage. The no-fee arrangement also encourages efficiency; if there’s a problem with an application, customers will find out about it quickly.
If the case is not taken any further, customers receive an explanation which informs them of what needs to change to improve their chances of securing a mortgage in the future.
The other major coup for B2B’s application was the launch of Cosmic, a new online commercial mortgage application system that has dragged a stalling industry into the digital age.
Managed by brokers, the online system allows customers to upload documents at their convenience and trims weeks from the decision-making process. Brokers can easily pitch a case to numerous lenders simultaneously, encouraging them to actively compete for a borrower’s custom.
As the accolade proves, B2B’s ethos and application have been supported by lenders and borrowers alike. We hope you’ll agree – it’s a well-earned award – and we’re determined to continue what we’ve started.
